Multi Craft Technician – Tetra Pak – Night Shift – 6pm to 6am Join Our Team as a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician! The Opportunity This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
- 2+ years of multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, and fabrication.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and use precision tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Be a Key Team Member: Work alongside Operations to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose complex equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and repair high-speed filling, packaging, and conveying systems.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute PMs, support autonomous maintenance, and plan major repairs during scheduled shutdowns.
- Fabricate & Upgrade: Design, weld, and install mechanical and electronic components; perform PLC program changes and maintain AC drive systems.
- Collaborate & Improve: Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to implement design changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train & Mentor: Share your expertise with peers and provide technical guidance to improve team capabilities.
- Ensure Compliance: Follow GMP, FDA, USDA, OSHA, and company safety standards in all tasks.
