About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for responding to maintenance requests promptly and performing a wide range of repairs and upkeep tasks across residential properties. Key responsibilities include maintaining and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems, as well as ensuring all mechanical equipment is functioning properly. The Maintenance Technician will also handle general building maintenance, such as installing flooring, repairing stairs and piping, and painting doors, windows, and walls. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid technical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar maintenance or technician role
  • Proven experience with plumbing and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, hardware, and power equipment
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion
  • Comfortable with driving to multiple job sites throughout the DFW area and surrounding regions
  • Strong technical skills combined with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record search.

  • Type 1 HVAC Certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests to ensure resident satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and safety systems in residential properties
  • Perform a variety of electrical repairs, including lighting fixtures, outlets, and laundry equipment
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct routine building cleaning and general maintenance tasks
  • Install, repair, or replace flooring, stairs, piping, and other structural components as needed
  • Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and roofs, maintaining both functionality and appearance
  • Service and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning and heating units
  • Carry out various general maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure property standards are met
  • Any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
