Overhaul, repair, and test high speed production equipment which includes ovens, packaging machines, mixers, cartoners, baggers, stuffers, smoke houses, throughout the facility. High School Graduate or GED with prior maintenance experience in a production environment with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding ability. This position reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager. Must understand: Drive train- Belts, pulleys, sprockets, and chain drives. Basic electrical- 110 single phase and 480 & 230 v 3 phase. PLC operation Motor control Fabrication- welding, grinding. and assembly, Hydraulic- motors, pumps, and valves. Pneumatics- air valves and controls. Follow all safety, GMP's, and USDA guidelines Can work overtime and weekends. Complete required paperwork daily per Quality guidelines Understand, use and update shop prints, specifications and refer to the manufacturer manual for servicing and installation of equipment and distribution systems. Determine workforce and material requirements, means and methods to be used in accomplishing work assignments and recommend changes. Prepare, paint surfaces and maintain cleanliness of work areas. Use tools and test equipment of the trade. Maintain spare parts inventory and orders parts. Coordinate with Maintenance management when locking and tagging systems. Perform related responsibilities as assigned. Observe safety requirements. Observe and assist outside contractors for compliance with ConAgra standards. Train new hires/transfers regarding proper maintenance and safety practices. Follow all GMP's and USDA guidelines. Complete required paperwork daily per Quality guidelines
