We are seeking a maintenance technician to be actively engaged in supporting a new team that takes ownership over safety, electrical, and mechanical maintenance functions of the Towers and Structures facility. The maintenance technician will support a production line at a temporary location in Crawfordsville, IN, before moving to the permanent NTS site in Crawfordsville, IN. The site will feature state-of-the-art machinery for advanced steel manufacturing, and the team will be responsible for safely maximizing equipment productivity and uptime. The team must be able to support the integration and maintenance of the new equipment so that it can be optimized by the team for production. The technician will play an integral role in this by:

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience
2 years Industrial Maintenance experience
Must be able to demonstrate willingness/ability mentioned above in the Basic Job Function
candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Nice To Haves

Industrial Maintenance Experience
Competency with various computer and mobile applications, ex. Microsoft Office, ERP systems
Knowledge in mechanical and hydraulic processes.
Knowledge in the electrical field.
Willing to expand and share technical knowledge

Responsibilities

Supporting development of safe work practices and procedures for the facility
Supporting the implementation of new equipment and technologies
Support plant operations by safely maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading production equipment.
Attending and facilitating relevant trainings on equipment and maintenance best practices
Working closely with all departments to plan future needs and/or improvements
