Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience with equipment such as conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and drive systems
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance tracking
  • Knowledge of GMP and OSHA safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to train and support others on the production floor
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Work in a production/warehouse environment with moderate noise
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of tools and equipment
  • Exposure to moving machinery, forklifts, and powered industrial equipment

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to meet operational demands
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and support critical maintenance needs across the facility
  • Identify equipment issues through observation and performance metrics
  • Perform preventative and periodic maintenance to maximize uptime
  • Partner with Reliability Mechanics to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency
  • Reduce process losses by improving settings, adjustments, and standards
  • Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives (TPM, loss elimination, etc.)
  • Train and coach Line Leads and Operators on equipment standards and autonomous maintenance
  • Translate technical/OEM information into practical, easy-to-follow processes
  • Participate in daily shift meetings to prioritize work and minimize downtime
  • Maintain parts inventory and ensure tools are readily available
  • Complete maintenance reports, work orders, and documentation accurately
