POSITION SUMMARY Support the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment to ensure safe operations and support the upkeep of the facility.

Requirements

Must be able to understand, read and write English
Have basic mechanical knowledge and abilities.
Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems.
Proficient in the use of power and hand tools.
Good organization and communication skills.
5-10 years experience working as a facilities or maintenance technician.
Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Safety focused.
Demonstrated history of working proficiently with limited supervision.

Nice To Haves

Trade school or college credits a plus.
Experience working in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventative equipment maintenance including applying sealants, lubricating machinery, and replacing worn-out components.
Manage emergency repairs consisting of diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Perform routine maintenance including the assembly, installation and repair of furniture, fixtures lighting and material handling equipment.
Support the General upkeep of the facility that may include general cometic repairs, painting, plumbing, and electrical and landscaping and housekeeping.
Provide event support that may include setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for events.
Perform critical cleaning of filters and equipment as required.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of position.
