About The Position
The Maintenance Technician at Hassle Free Home Services facilitates home maintenance services in members’ homes. This role involves handling routine tasks, addressing client requests, and proactively identifying potential issues. With the Technician’s diligence and attention to detail, homeowners can rest assured that their home is well cared for and consistently maintained to the highest standard, transforming homeownership into a truly hassle-free experience.
Requirements
- A seasoned handyman or maintenance professional with a background in residential home building and/or maintenance
- Knowledgeable about basic home maintenance including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting
- An excellent problem solver who can work independently to troubleshoot household issues
- A good communicator who can clearly relay both verbal and written information
- Comfortable with technology (basic computer skills, email, our Proprietary Software)
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and quality completion of scheduled maintenance and repairs for our members’ homes
- Interact with members, subcontractors and our support team to provide updates and instructions regarding maintenance needs
- Provide clearly documented reports after each visit to summarize the work completed and any necessary follow-up
- Grow and develop your skills with professional development and opportunities to advance within our company into leadership roles
Benefits
- Up to $31/hour (commensurate with experience)
- No on-call work -- stable schedule of 40 hrs/week
