A Maintenance Technician has to perform various tasks like general, preventive, and emergency maintenance of the hotel. Generally, hotel maintenance is done in restaurants, front desk, rooms, parking, lobbies, casino, restrooms and elevators of a hotel. Basic Preventative Maintenance. Respond to guest calls and work orders. Log and follow-up on work orders and complete paper work. Repair any equipment that my break down or need replaced. Must be able to troubleshoot problems. Must maintain a safe work environment for his/herself, co-workers and guests. Lifting and carrying is required on a daily basis. The distance and how high the material is lifted will depend on the job duty, which is being performed at that particular time. Possess skills (or quickly learn) safety, ppe, hotel locks, drain, snake, pool equipment, room pm, general plumbing, general electric, scissor lift. Skills, plus intermediate plumbing, intermediate electrical, garbage compactor, boilers, chiller, cooling tower. Skills plus backup generator, snow plow, w/4 wheeler, sweeper, forklift, backhoe, carpentry, mechanic. Skills plus HVAC certified, advanced electrical, advanced plumbing. Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness and sanitation Correctly collects, transports, and properly stores or disposes of trash, soiled linens, and biohazardous waste according to facility and departmental policy and procedure Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times Performs related and/or other duties as required.
