About The Position

This position involves performing a wide variety of duties to support machine operation with a strong commitment to safety. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the setup and minor repair of all mechanical, hydraulic, and specialty equipment within the facility, ensuring quality of assembly by following samples, orders, and other documents to meet product specifications. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in using measuring devices, rules, scales, gauges, and fixtures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task under deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a positive and self-motivated attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of Industrial Maintenance Program
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and Microsoft Office
  • Power truck and welding experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, gearboxes, couplings, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical issues by observing operations, using precision measuring tools, and following diagrams, sketches, and engineering specifications.
  • Remove, repair, and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Perform equipment setup, adjustments, minor repairs, and tooling replacements to ensure proper functionality.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of preventive maintenance techniques and ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, including reports on issues, solutions, and preventive actions.
  • Work closely with production employees, Leads, Process Managers, and Engineers to maximize machine uptime and improve processes.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and materials needed for maintenance and production.
  • Perform required preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and workplace organization standards.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.
