About The Position

MAY Management is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations at Marina Grande on the Halifax, a premier waterfront condominium community. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards of the property while delivering exceptional service to residents and guests. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and experience working in a high-rise or luxury condominium environment. Certified Pool Operator (CPO), HVAC knowledge, OSHA compliance, and cooling tower experience are heavily desired.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a condominium, HOA, or luxury residential environment
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and safety documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) – strongly preferred
  • HVAC experience or certification highly desired
  • OSHA safety compliance knowledge or certification preferred
  • Cooling tower experience highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance for residential units and common areas
  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical equipment
  • Monitor and service cooling towers, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain swimming pools and spa facilities in accordance with CPO standards
  • Conduct regular property inspections and identify repair or safety concerns
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and community safety policies
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
  • Assist with special projects, capital improvements, and preventative maintenance programs
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections
  • Support emergency response efforts as needed (on-call or rotating schedule may apply)
