About The Position

Looking for an individual who can work independently and can accomplish the tasks required efficiently and effectively. Must be self-motivated and willing to step in and help out wherever necessary. This is a full-time position. Perform all aspects of property maintenance: Preventative, Corrective, deferred and emergency maintenance. Maintain all maintenance shops and storage rooms in an orderly fashion and in compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate inventory control of tools, equipment and supplies. Perform maintenance inspection and repairs on vacant units to ensure proper operating conditions and appearance upon move-in. Assists supervisor/manager on special projects Serve as on-call maintenance providing evening, weekends and holiday emergency service. Ensure curb appeal of the community and cleanliness of grounds.

Requirements

• Must be able to complete work order forms
• Must be able to take direction
• Must be organized
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate with supervisor and manager
• Must be able to interact with guests and fellow employees with a positive friendly attitude
• Must have a clean driving record and current driver's license
• Maintenance knowledge is imperative along with the capability to assess health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently
• Multi-tasker
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crawling and climbing activities.
• Lifting and carrying of bulky or heavy items may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred 1-year experience in hotel maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing and painting.
