About The Position

Wilson Trailer has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician Position. This is an excellent career opportunity with a leader in the truck trailer industry. We have an opening on our night shift working 3:30pm to 3:00 am, Monday through Thursday. We offer an attractive starting wage depending on experience along with scheduled increases and a full benefit package. We offer a night shift differential of $1.75 an hour. Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance work. Essential Functions Statement(s) Perform a safety inspection of hoist chains, forklifts, and all tools used to ensure safety. Ability to read and understand prints of machines and other items to be able to identify and fix issues that arise. Have an understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic schematics. Basic electrical knowledge. Have a valid driver's license. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance. Will need to workday shift or a split shift for a few months until training is complete. Will be required to take a written test on knowledge. Must be self-motivated, can work independently or in a team. Can fabricate parts if needed by using a mill, lathe and/or welder. Skills and Abilities Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Experience: Must be at least eighteen years of age. Computer Skills: Average; ability to navigate computer systems for various tasks. Communication: Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate clearly and concisely using the English Language.
