About The Position

A Maintenance Technician is a resilient, team-minded individual who thrives in a challenging environment and is responsible for assisting in all aspects of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic machine maintenance for the plant. Key duties and responsibilities include: Performing preventive maintenance inspections and servicing machines to ensure optimal performance. Thoroughly cleaning machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling components as necessary. Oiling and lubricating moving parts on machines to maintain effective operation. Identifying and reporting damage, worn, or broken parts. Ordering and installing replacement parts for machines. Diagnosing and troubleshooting unexpected machine breakdowns. Repairing broken machines quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime. Documenting work performed and preparing reports as required. Clearing, organizing, and maintaining shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies. Coordinating with managers to schedule regular machine maintenance. Adhering to all safety rules, best practices, and company standards. Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with electrical wiring.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
