About The Position

We are looking to hire a skilled Maintenance Technician to help install and maintain our production machines. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be required to install new equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment faults on site. You may also be required to remove old equipment and train staff on equipment operating procedures. To ensure success as a Maintenance Technician, you should have extensive knowledge of industrial equipment, the ability to work well under pressure, and demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills. An outstanding Maintenance Technician should be able to service, troubleshoot, and repair equipment without causing extended equipment downtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical/Electrical tech
• Advanced knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical systems / Pnuematic systems
• Ability to read schematics
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of safety and equipment procedures
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst keeping standards high.
• Good communication and training skills, with the ability to learn on the job.

Nice To Haves

• Desirable background of printing machines

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and maintaining production equipment
• Utilizing PPM and scheduling the repair/replacement of old or faulty equipment
• Act upon breakdown requests in a timely and safe manner
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Remove and help install new equipment.
• Keep all paperwork and spare parts up to date.
• Providing technical support and training on new equipment.
• Adhering to all safety and performance regulations.
