About The Position

Empire Distributors Inc. a Leading Beverage Distributor with excellent benefits, competitive wages and the potential for growth opportunities is now hiring PM Warehouse Maintenance Tech This position keeps premises of office space, warehouse and surrounding areas maintained and in orderly condition. Preferred candidate should have warehouse and forklift experience. Candidate should have good communication skills.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift Certificate
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of warehouse software as well as basic Windows functions, i.e. SAP, KEA, Excel, and Word.

Nice To Haves

Experience in electrical, welding, reading drawings and schematics preferred.
Preferred candidate should have warehouse and forklift experience.
Candidate should have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintains and performs basic repairs to Conveyor systems.
Maintains and performs basic repairs to printer and scanners.
Maintains and performs basic repairs to building and surrounding areas.
Perform basic carpentry and painting within facility.
Maintains safety areas within warehouse to include fire exits and emergency lights.
Works with each team in operations on special projects.
Maintains shop and all tools within it.
Maintains and performs basic repairs to lifts as needed.
Maintains inventory for conveyor parts and reports all parts used.
Helps with training teammates on forklifts and other equipment used in warehouse.
Other duties as assigned by the Building Maintenance Manager.
