Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Job Purpose: Perform work involving two or more maintenance skills to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or structure of the casino in repair. Essential Functions: Inspect and tests machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Dismantle and reassemble defective machines and equipment. Install new and repaired parts. Clean and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Install and/or repair wiring and electrical and electronic components. Assembles, install, and/or repair plumbing. Paints and repair woodwork and plaster. Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Record repairs made and costs. Promptly reports low supplies and equipment problems to Property Supervisor. Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license.
- One year experience in repair and maintenance of commercial building.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to construct objects, structures, and buildings.
- Knowledge of basic work maintenance practices; tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of equipment, tools, mechanical devices, and their uses to produce motion, light, power, technology, and other applications.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and staff.
- Documents that establish both Identity and Employment Eligibili
- Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License.
