The Role This role will support the successful operation of the facility by maintaining and monitoring all process and building equipment. Must have proven experience in industrial piping/mechanical, HVAC, and chill water systems, showing a strong mechanical aptitude. This position works with moderate independence and requires strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills in mechanical and electrical equipment failures to maintain operational reliability. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to diagnose problems using preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Familiar with various types of piping systems, plumbing, ductwork, regulators, gauges, and pneumatic/electrical-operated valves.
  • Basic fabrication skills using power tools, grinders, drill press, milling machine, and band saw.
  • Knowledge of pumps and troubleshooting methods, disassembly, rebuilding, repair and installation.
  • Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and preventive maintenance programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical school, trade certification, or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, agitators, compressors, piping systems, and process equipment.
  • Assist with basic instrumentation troubleshooting such as sensors, switches, and control devices.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation in the CMMS system.
  • Participate in reliability and continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance.
