Real Estate / Facilities (REF) provides support for office needs including leasing, space planning, rent payment, construction, property management, and furniture and move coordination. REF’s Property Management team is looking for a Maintenance Technician. This individual will work full-time out of the downtown Cincinnati office.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Generally, a minimum of 1 year of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
Maintains working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Essential job functions must be performed onsite.
Requires continuous and prolonged walking and standing.
Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of objects up to 50 lbs.
Requires frequent climbing, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling and crawling.
Requires overhead reaching and grabbing.
Requires regular and predictable attendance (may be required to work in a physical office location).
Requires ability to conduct visual inspections.
Requires work outdoors, in inclement weather conditions.
May require ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

Performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems.
Responds promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoots issues in office spaces, common areas, and building systems.
Maintains and repairs office furniture, fixtures, and minor structural components.
Provides grounds maintenance support, including removal of snow and ice.
Coordinates with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
Ensures compliance with company and regulatory safety programs.
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Supports emergency response protocols and assist with disaster recovery efforts when needed.
Assists with office moves, furniture setups, and workspace reconfigurations.
May provide janitorial support.
Performs other duties as assigned.
