As a Maintenance Technician, you will become the heartbeat of our production floor by keeping our specialized brush‑manufacturing equipment running at peak performance. Tanis Brush designs and manufactures various industrial and utility brushes that help other businesses thrive. Our brushes are used for cleaning, sorting, painting, finishing and protecting equipment, machinery, parts and many other applications. Since 1987, Tanis has been known for our vast selection of brush products, resourceful specialty design, engineering capabilities, and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical processes
• A safety‑first mindset and high attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

• Experience with brush manufacturing equipment or similar specialty machinery

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair tufting, trimming, cutting, and assembly machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance that keeps downtime low and productivity high
• Support machine changeovers and precision tooling adjustments
• Execute safe electrical and mechanical work using proper LOTO procedures
• Sharpen and maintain cutting blades for high‑accuracy production
• Collaborate with Engineering on tooling, upgrades, and continuous improvement
• Mentor teammates and help elevate our technical excellence
