As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks on trailers to ensure they are safe, efficient, and roadworthy. Your primary duties will include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, repairing or replacing damaged components, conducting routine inspections, and providing expert recommendations on trailer upkeep. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key to ensuring that trailers meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements

High school or equivalent (Required)
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures.
Basic electrical diagnosis and repair.
Basic Plumbing knowledge.
Floor and wall repair.
Foundation brake system diagnosis and repair.
Door repair – both roll and swing doors.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures.
Determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.
Perform facilities maintenance.
Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery.
Estimate costs to repair machinery, equipment, or building structures.
