About The Position

Rimports is currently seeking an individual for the role of an Experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at our Provo, Utah location. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years recent electrical experience. This position is responsible for the maintenance of our manufacturing facilities and machinery to maximize performance. This role will report to the Chief Engineer.

Requirements

3-5 years recent electrical required.
2 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
High school degree or GED
Mechanically inclined
Have a thorough understanding of the manufacturing environment, requirements and dynamics.
Competent in working with plumbing
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communications skills
High degree of integrity and honesty

Responsibilities

Conduct general maintenance and repairs, especially production line maintenance.
Ensure machinery is operating properly and efficiently.
Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs
Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
Install new equipment/systems.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines; conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
Perform all duties in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Best Practice Guidelines.
Provide support to all departments on facilities-related matters.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Interact and coordinate with all departments.
From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.
Be responsible for your allocated workload and meet all targets as agreed with Supervisor.
Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 75 pounds; lift 50 pounds regularly.
Must have ability to stand and move around for hours at a time.
