About The Position

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for completion of the day-to-day activities involving installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the production facility and related equipment and machinery, including blown film extrusion lines, to support the production process.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
10+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
Able to pass background check and a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Blown film extrusion experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
Preforming preventive maintenance in conjunction with maintaining production equipment during production.
Reviews work orders, prioritize them, and perform the work in a professional manor.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations of repair.
Perform simple machinist skills for fabricating parts as needed.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, test and adjust the machines.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, machines, facilities and faulty equipment.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
