We are looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Must have excellent abilities with all standard maintenance tools and shop equipment
  • Must have strong PLC, CNC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with practical, mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • 3-5 years of general maintenance experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Good communication skills
  • Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills
  • Availability to work overtime as required including emergency call-ins
  • Must be able to stand for 3 to 8-hour intervals if necessary.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • All performed tasks will require the use of safety glasses and hard toes shoes and other deemed necessary PPE.
  • Must be able to climb ladders or scissor lifts and be able to work at heights over 6 feet.

Responsibilities

  • Work with supervisor to ensure required maintenance is completed
  • Prioritize all work orders for routine and scheduled maintenance
  • Run IO diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to identify and recommend required work on pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
  • Detect malfunctions through observations (sound or visual) and diagnostic equipment (signal generators, amp meters, and volt meters)
  • Troubleshoot and run diagnostic tests on servo motors
  • Repair all electrical equipment, wiring starters, motors, conveyors, high pressure pumps, and controls
  • Install and level new equipment and make improvements on existing equipment
  • Responsible for primary maintenance and repair of the facility’s equipment. (i.e.: CNC machines, saws, thermal deburring machine, parts washers, briquetter, MMC vehicles, compressors, forklifts, HVAC)
  • Troubleshoot unscheduled repairs or emergency repairs
  • Communicate with outside vendors or contractors when issues may be too complex to handle
  • Maintain all records of each machine’s maintenance intervals
  • Effectively communicate with supervisor and production planning to avoid interruptions in schedules or promised production
  • Perform major CNC repairs including spindle, linear guides and ball screw replacements
  • Navigate through Pro5, Pro6, FANUC, and Yasnac controls
  • Maintain inventory of filters and small parts to perform necessary job duties
  • Dismantle machinery and repair or replace defective parts
  • Follow safety rules and regulations
