About The Position

Steeplechase Apartment Community is now seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. Candidates must have strong reasoning and problem-solving skills, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, team-player attitude.
Requirements
- Home repair or handyman skills
- Experience with painting
- Knowledge of pool operation and maintenance
- Willingness to assist with janitorial duties such as power washing, picking up trash, cleaning, etc.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to be on call for maintenance emergencies
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance improvement projects
- Maintain the upkeep and repair of the property and grounds
- Assist with periodic inspections of the property and apartments
- Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy
- Perform work order requests
- Complete seasonal maintenance, such as maintaining sprinkling systems, pool area, and snow removal
