About The Position
Maintenance Technician – Prairie Pointe Apartments & Townhomes (Coeur d'Alene, ID) Prodigy Property Management (prodigypro.net) is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support operations at Prairie Pointe (liveatprairiepointe.com), a professionally managed apartment and townhome community featuring resort-style amenities including a pool, fitness center, clubhouse, dog park, pickleball courts, and landscaped grounds. This position plays a key role in preserving the physical asset, supporting resident satisfaction, and contributing to overall property performance. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Community Asset Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Groundskeeper, and office team under the direction of the Regional Portfolio Manager. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in property management maintenance, construction, and building systems, with hands-on experience in unit turns, preventative maintenance, and service request completion. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems; completing work orders in a timely and professional manner; preparing vacant units for occupancy within required timelines; maintaining curb appeal; and ensuring the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role requires participation in after-hours emergency maintenance calls on a rotating basis, as well as seasonal snow removal to ensure safe access throughout the property. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and responding to urgent maintenance needs. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service. Experience in multifamily housing, facilities maintenance, or construction trades is highly preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required.
