About The Position

Position Summary: Performs maintenance duties at various agency properties across the region. Ensures quality of work and timeliness of completion for maintenance projects.

Position Description:

Ensures the overall maintenance of multiple Agency facilities; work is completed timely and with quality
Performs primarily interior and exterior building maintenance and repair works such as basic plumbing and electrical, carpentry, painting, wall repair and replacing doors/parts
Picks up supplies and equipment for facilities
Works with external vendors and contractors as needed
Monitors work to ensure compliance with specifications
Moves furniture and equipment as necessary
Maintains accurate documentation of work orders through agency system
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Graduate or High School Equivalency
• 1-3 years of experience
• Valid driver license and auto insurance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and plans
• Ability to plan material and supply needs
• Knowledge of building maintenance techniques and tools involved in the upkeep of buildings, fixtures and structures
• Knowledge of emergency procedures
• Skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and preventive/general maintenance
• Driving of personal vehicle
