Requirements

  • A strong background in property maintenance or related trades such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
  • Previous experience with appliance repairs and HVAC troubleshooting
  • EPA Type II or Universal HVAC certification preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between Madison and Sun Prairie.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled maintenance and repair work across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general building systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and independently.
  • Prepare apartments for new residents and ensure property curb appeal.
  • Maintain common areas and grounds, including seasonal upkeep.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls with professionalism and urgency.
  • Collaborate with vendors and property teams to ensure smooth operations.
