As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the equipment in the facility on the production floor, warehouse and the office area. 7 am to 7 pm Requirements Responsibilities: Repair / replace extrusion process line equipment as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation. Prioritize breakdowns based on the input from production. Troubleshoot equipment problems in coordinated effort with production personnel. Ensuring work orders are completed in a timely fashion and all parts used are accounted for. Responsible for ensuring all equipment is diagnosed and repaired in a timely manner or elevating to the Maintenance Manager level when the repairs will take longer than allotted time. Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines. Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary. Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance. Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts. Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines. Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies. Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines. Collaborates with production manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required. Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with production manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
