About The Position

Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their department and lab needs. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the lab.

Requirements

  • No specific education required
  • 1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Requires accuracy, some mental effort and occasional organization and planning

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing desired, optical industry knowledge a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists
  • Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time
  • Servicing and maintaining Edgers, Generators and Blockers
  • Cleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibrating
  • Identifying issues and performing repairs
  • Assisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab
  • Following all safety measures, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilizing PPE if required
