Position Summary Maintains all facility systems as directed to achieve high quality standards and efficient operation of building equipment and systems. Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Must be available to respond to after hour emergency calls.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Previous building maintenance engineering experience required
• HVAC experience with FPB, VAV, RTU, pumps, and exhaust fans - troubleshoot and repair
• Plumbing experience including clear drains, flush valves, and repair/rebuild flush meter
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Capable of handling multiple projects and basic knowledge and experience with Building Automation Systems
• Proficient use of basic hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and circuits
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to safely and efficiently make repairs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be available to respond to after hour emergency calls
• May perform other duties as assigned
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders as assigned.
• Ensure that building systems and occupant service requests are handled promptly and efficiently
• Perform inspections including building and grounds for any and all maintenance issues
• Ability to adhere to established preventive maintenance procedures
• Order supplies and materials via written or verbal communications for maintenance and repairs to be approved by Facility Manager
• Record and maintain meter readings
• Report to Facility Manager on work performed and work needed to be done
• Respond to occupant complaints and ensure all reasonable measures are taken to satisfy needs in a timely and efficient manner
• Understanding of life safety systems and follow procedures in event of emergency
• May perform other duties as assigned
