Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall condition of the facility’s physical environment. This role performs a variety of semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and groundskeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Grand Valley Gardens is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for our residents. Grand Valley Gardens is seeking a Maintenance Technician to- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance. Handle basic repairs and maintenance. Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them. Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven maintenance experience.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Ability to check repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Eye for detail.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
- Strong time management skills.
