Our Byesville, OH, USA plant is an integral part of our Beverage division, dedicated to processing and packaging fruit-based juice mixes, syrups, extracts, and other similar liquid ingredients. As a Maintenance Technician you’ll have a direct impact on the safety of our teams, safety of our products and growing our business. Your responsibilities will include increasing efficiency, reducing breakdowns, and extending the life of equipment. Familiarity with various production floor concepts, practices, and procedures will help you plan and accomplish goals using your experience and judgment. Collaborating with Kerry Group’s maintenance and engineering teams, you will implement Preventative Maintenance Strategy Align with business goals for smooth operations. Root Cause Analysis Investigate breakdowns lasting over 4 hours and develop corrective actions. Proactive Issue Identification Use advanced tools to monitor equipment and identify issues early.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency required; Industrial maintenance degree or equivalent experience, industrial electrical certification, welding helpful, Associate degree in a related field or completion of a Trades/Technical School program preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment - aseptic or chemical processing environment ideal.
  • Proficient in mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
  • Practiced in safe work habits.
  • Team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done.
  • Self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook). SAP knowledge is helpful.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environment (plant is temperature controlled and well ventilated).

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and rebuild production machines and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot pneumatics, rebuild valves/pumps, and set mechanical timing.
  • Calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment.
  • Work with 3-phase and high voltage electrical systems.
  • Provide general facility maintenance and repair.
