About The Position

The Maintenance Technician position at the Goodlettsville TownePlace Suites is a full-time role responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities and equipment. Key duties include performing scheduled preventative maintenance, addressing guest and associate work orders, and repairing minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues. The technician will also be responsible for pool system maintenance, repairing furniture and various hotel equipment, and conducting seasonal landscaping and groundskeeping tasks. The role requires the operation and maintenance of hand tools and power equipment. Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Hotel maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
