About The Position

Noah Homes is a mission-driven nonprofit organization that provides safe, supportive, and community-based residential care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With 10 building residential homes, 2 other buildings and 90 residents, we are dedicated to maintaining a high standard of quality living and creating a safe comfortable, well-kept environment where residents can thrive. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep of buildings and equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in troubleshooting a variety of maintenance issues while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or building repair required
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and mechanical systems
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Good communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, facilities, and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and mechanical systems
Complete preventative maintenance schedules and inspections
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls
Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements (e.g., boilers, furnaces, HVAC systems)
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs
Maintain tools, supplies, and a clean, organized workspace
