About The Position

Under the appropriate supervision with latitude for independent judgment, the maintenance technician performs preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to insure the safe operation of mobile equipment. Implements, coordinates and assists in the application of procedures pertaining to general maintenance. Duties may require manual, clerical and data entry skills. Requirements

Previous manufacturing maintenance experience.
2 year degree in maintenance technology and/or 2 years relevant experience and/or combination of both
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
Must be able to lift 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

Routine, preventative and emergency maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
Implements a preventive and routine maintenance program on all equipment.
Prepares and maintains logs, charts and other required documents for each piece of equipment.
Operates all material handling equipment required.
Repairs equipment as required.
Perform building and equipment audits.
Coordinate and track preventative maintenance.
Initiate and schedule repairs.
Performs repairs on equipment.
Develop and implement continuous improvements.
Maintain and track supplies.
Any other duties assigned by Site Manager.
