Summary: A Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs facilities and equipment.
Requirements
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or permanent resident cardholders.
- Education – High School diploma. Two-year technical degree a plus.
- Experience – minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Ability to read equipment schematics.
Nice To Haves
- Strongly prefer candidates who have a working knowledge of thermal spray technology and general industrial technologies, including electronics, robotics, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with digital maintenance management systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the preventative maintenance programs to ensure that facilities and equipment are cared for on a proactive basis. Complete all preventative maintenance tasks on a timely basis.
- Troubleshoot and complete comprehensive repairs to thermal spray equipment through knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, and related skills.
- Evaluate maintenance requests to understand problems and determine the best resolution.
- Maintain the operating condition of buildings and equipment.
- Operate common hand or power tools.
- Observe all safety rules in the production areas:
- Wearing Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow lockout/tag out procedures.
- Follow proper tie-off procedures.
- Help in other areas as directed.
- Use a digital maintenance management system to track work and log information related to completed tasks.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to environmental and regulatory requirements.
