As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll ensure operation of industrial and packaging machinery by performing mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks as assigned. Make an impact across our manufacturing processes as you troubleshoot PLCs and manage the preventative and predictive maintenance of our manufacturing equipment and machinery to improve the functionality and safe working order. This is an hourly position and pays $36.31/hour. Must be available to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED AND 1+ years’ of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, automotive or military environment
  • 2-year technical degree

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of mechanical terminology and utilizations including bearings, conveyors, sprockets, power transmissions, chains, basic pneumatics/hydraulic systems, pump operations, and rigging.
  • Utilize your understanding of Ohm’s law, series and parallel circuits, motor connections, power sources, ac/dc motors, and transformers to complete electrical work as needed.
  • Identify electrical components and their functions.
  • Always work in a safe manner using knowledge and utilization of PPE and safety for tasks, techniques (stick/mig), set up of equipment, basic gas cutting, proper grounding, and equipment maintenance.
  • Apply knowledge of lubrication to diagnose equipment and apply correct lubrication for situation.
  • Collect oil samples and conduct analyses as needed.
