About The Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to: Maintain heating and air conditioning equipment, emergency power systems, medical gas distribution and supply systems, food service equipment, and hospital life support systems for direct and indirect patient use. Perform diagnosis and repair equipment in emergency situations, monitor and make adjustments to the building(s) environment and lighting using a computerized building automation system and monitor and make adjustments to computerized, intelligent fire alarm systems. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license in the person’s state of residence
  • Must be 21 years of age or have three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Patient/Visitor Vehicle or UW Health Vehicle other than a golf cart or utility terrain vehicle
  • Two (2) years of maintenance experience or formal training

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) year technical diploma in HVAC, industrial, trades or related field
  • Two (2) years of maintenance experience or formal training, in a healthcare setting
