About The Position

Jowat Corporation has an opening for a Maintenance Technician on night shift 7:00 pm- 7:00 am in High Point, NC. We are looking for a responsible Maintenance Technician to fulfill a wide variety of duties in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment in a safe manner, utilizing predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company's business goals and objectives.

Requirements

Two-year technical degree or completion of accredited apprenticeship program and/or the equivalent in experience in a related technical field preferred.
Two (2) to four (4) years of experience with manufacturing equipment.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
Basic knowledge of computer skills needed.
Excellent communication, multitasking, and written skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to get on and off equipment, lift heavy objects, bend and/or stand for an extended period of time.

Nice To Haves

SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting activities on manufacturing machinery and plant control systems.
Perform electrical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic repairs to automated and non-automated equipment.
Apply knowledge of functional operation of electrical units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunctions and make repairs.
Understand PLCs and ladder logic.
Perform inspection, preventative, predictive and functional maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production machines and equipment.
Assist in installation and set-up of equipment.
