About The Position

The shift times for Maintenance Tech 2:00pm-10:30 pm Monday through Friday POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician 1 will be responsible for building maintenance and a range of basic repairs. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
• Basic computer skills, ability to add, subtract, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete building maintenance and repairs (restrooms, lighting, HVAC systems, painting, and pneumatic systems).
• Troubleshoot and maintain small tools and equipment.
• Partner with Maintenance Tech II for preventative maintenance (PM). This could include changing filters, oiling parts, minor electrical repairs, etc.
• Assist in building new fixtures, office equipment, and other necessary tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Support facilities team as needed to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
