About The Position

ATEK Metal Technologies is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems to support our production operations and facility infrastructure. This hands-on position plays a vital role in keeping our equipment and systems running efficiently and safely. We’re looking for a proactive, safety-minded problem-solver with strong technical ability and a passion for maintaining world-class manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; advanced technical training preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, with strong emphasis on hydraulic and pneumatic systems; familiarity with PLC controls and HVAC systems a plus.
• Proven ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and material handling equipment.
• Must pass ATEK Functional Job Analysis and Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance duties, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines and facility systems.
• Lead and perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose complex hydraulic issues, repair or replace components, and verify proper system function.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
