About The Position
Repairs and maintains machinery, equipment and buildings. Installs new and used equipment under direction of maintenance superintendent and original equipment manufacturer with a self-starter attitude.. This is a multi-task position requiring entry-level skills of carpentry, millwright, plumbing and advanced (learned or previously acquired) electrical/electronic skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of building and equipment utilizing summary skills
- Welding, cutting, metal fabrication, electrical/electronic troubleshooting, carpentry, plumbing, pipefitting, etc.
- Snow removal, grounds maintenance and vehicle maintenance
- Installation of new equipment, facilities remodeling and alterations, as required
- Parts ordering and record keeping
- Utility functions errands, routine can-do tasks
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
