As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and inviting. You’ll perform a variety of maintenance tasks, from plumbing and electrical repairs to HVAC and carpentry work, all while upholding high standards for quality and safety. Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in general maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Must be able to participate in the emergency on-call rotation as needed.
• Dedicated to exceeding expectations by providing exceptional service.
• Willingness to embrace feedback and continuously improve.
• Strong belief in the value of teamwork and collaboration.
• Reliable and committed to doing the right thing at all times.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
• Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
• Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
