About The Position
The Maintenance Repair Technician is expected to perform routine, emergency and preventive maintenance activities proactively and proficiently. The Maintenance Repair Tech specializes in one or more of the following trades: Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Fire Suppression. The Maintenance Repair Tech supports operation, inspection, and processes to all electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, and equipment systems in the facilities. This position does provide some direct patient care. Carries out daily activities under guidance and direction of the Manager and Director. Works collaboratively with all patients, visitors, and staff to provide a warm, welcoming, safe, and professional atmosphere.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification or documentation confirming knowledge relating to Electrical, HVAC or Plumbing.
- De-escalation training within 6 months.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing
- Due to the critical/life safety nature and responsibilities of this role, a personal smart phone is required for use during work or on-call.
