We are currently looking for a Maintenance Tech for The Barclay at Sarasota Responsible for performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment to support a safe, clean, and compliant senior living environment.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform minor repairs to building systems and equipment.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Willingness to wear designated uniform and required PPE.
• Availability for emergency response and on-call rotation.
• Minimum one (1) year maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Assist with upkeep of mechanical rooms, drains, grease traps, garbage areas, cooling towers, and exterior grounds.
• Perform general repairs including painting, plastering, minor carpentry, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC-related tasks.
• Prepare apartments and common areas for resident move-ins and occupancy.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours emergency coverage as scheduled.
• Complete work orders
• Follow all safety, infection control, OSHA, and healthcare regulatory standards.
• Attend required staff meetings and in-service training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
