Requirements

2 years experience in the maintenance field; Strong Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and Holidays
Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
Must be team orientated, self-motivated and communicate effectively, oral and written
Able to perform essential job functions of the position
Able to handle varying work conditions from extremely hot/humid to cold

Nice To Haves

Two (2) or more years prior experience in the Dairy Industry as a maintenance technician with astrong mechanical and electrical background along with three (3) months on-the-job experience isnecessary to become proficient in the maintenance of pneumatics, hydraulics, AC frequency drives,electrical controls, instrumentation, schematic reading, welding, mechanical (sprockets & gearboxes),T/S technique and PLC knowledge.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical duties such as pumps, valves, conveyor work, sprockets, gearboxes, etc.
Calibrate all plant instrumentation in a wide variety of makes and types of specifications (i.e. temperature, flow, pH, vacuum, pressure, level load cells, Foxboro, Honeywell, E&H, etc.).
Work with industrial electricity (motor controls) to troubleshoot and repair electrical components and machinery including 24vdc, 110vac, 220vac, 277vac and 480vac systems.
Complete Preventative/Predictive maintenance work orders.
Able to re-build equipment to manufacturers specifications
Always perform work in a safe manner adhering to food safety guidelines.
