About The Position

Whisper Hollow Apartments is looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our community continues to be a place residents are proud to call home. In this role, you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the property is beautiful, well-maintained, and operating smoothly. What You’ll Do: Perform general appliance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs Complete apartment turns and make-readies Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Promptly respond to service requests using our paperless system Maintain maintenance records and manage inventory Perform general carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate with vendors as needed Handle pool and grounds care; assist with snow removal when necessary At Banner, we prioritize our teams, offer opportunities for growth, and are proud to promote from within. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 – 3 years of residential property maintenance or related field
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read blueprints and manuals
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs; frequent walking, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching
  • Basic computer skills for logging and tracking work orders

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC certification and/or experience
  • CPO license – or willing to obtain
  • CAMT designation
