About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and systems. This role involves conducting preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and supervising maintenance activities while adhering to safety protocols. The technician will collaborate with other departments for scheduling, fabricate and install components, and utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory. Key responsibilities also include diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, performing basic welding and metal fabrication, and interpreting technical documents like schematics and blueprints.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Experience working with logic controllers and other automated systems.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Electrical knowledge to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
  • Welding skills for basic metal fabrication tasks.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
