About The Position

The Maintenance Technician at Advanced Auto Trends, Inc. is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of injection molding production and facility equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency of the site by adhering to safety and maintenance protocols to meet business objectives.

Requirements

• Proven maintenance experience in injection molding.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Possess own hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot injection molding machines and equipment.
• Ability to read and use hydraulic and electrical blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
• Experience working with robots and EOAT (End of Arm Tooling).
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
• Professional presentation and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding production and facility equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and various pieces of equipment.
• Perform routine or preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment.
• Troubleshoot injection molding machines and equipment to remove and replace defective parts.
• Read and use hydraulic and electrical blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
• Use multi-meters for troubleshooting purposes.
• Utilize common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Work with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment as required.
• Communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams.
• Assist in the on-the-job training of new hires in machine setup, usage, and repair.
• Help maintain inventory of replacement parts and components.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
