About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the South Carolina facility. As a Maintenance Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continued functionality and safety of our facility. A successful Maintenance Technician will support operations and proactively lead preventative maintenance work. They demonstrate the willingness and ability to act swiftly to meet the customer's needs. This person must be able to fully cross-train in all maintenance areas, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic, for both troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Will utilize computerized maintenance systems and can demonstrate systemic troubleshooting decision-making. This person is dedicated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter, and loves to provide input and ideas to help the bakery succeed.

Requirements

  • At least 3 - 5 years of industrial maintenance millwright and electrical experience.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as schedule requires.
  • Proficient in at least two areas: electricity, electronics, PLC, logic, mechanical troubleshooting, power transmission, welding, steam systems, compressed air systems, and hydraulics.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work alone when required.
  • Read and understand blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Experience using maintenance tools.
  • Ability to work at heights, heat, and extreme cold conditions.
  • Commitment to observing all safety rules and regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Commit to learning all Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP regulations.
  • Attend scheduled training(s) onsite and offsite.
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Boiler and steam system skills.
  • Trade school certificate, diploma equivalent.
  • Worked in a manufacturing environment.
